The program begins with an application of a residual barrier treatment to vegetation around the structure. Next, a larvacide (growth regulator) is applied to low lying areas, catch basins, and drains. Once the treatment has been completed, our technician will inform you of any mosquito breeding sites.

What can you do to help control mosquitoes around your property?
• Clean rain gutters and downspouts
• Discard old tires or store indoors
• Empty flowerpots, tin cans, buckets – any container that might collect water
• Store wheelbarrows, canoes, boats upside down
• Empty, clean, and refill birdbaths and small wading pools weekly
• Stock ornamental ponds with fish that eat mosquito larvae
• Repair leaky outside faucets
• Secure swimming pool covers tightly
• Keep grass cut and bushes trimmed
