Action to Host 12th Annual Food and Grain Pest Management Seminar

Action Pest Control is proud to announce the agenda and registration for our 12th annual Food and Grain Pest Management seminar to be held Friday, July 23rd in Evansville, Indiana. This year marks the return of two of the best speakers in the history of the event, Dr. Bobby Corrigan and Dr. Linda Mason. We are also happy to have Judy Loven, Indiana State Director for USDA-APHIS Wildlife Services.
This seminar is designed for sanitarians, quality control personnel, fumigation specialists, pest management professionals and granary and grain industries. This seminar will be limited to 120 people so that ample time can be allotted to individual questions.

Dr. Bobby Corrigan
RMC Consulting
Dr. Corrigan has been in urban and industrial pest management over 30 years and is currently a Research Scientist with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Bobby is a columnist for Pest Control Technology magazine, author of Rodent Control: A Practical Guide for Pest Management Professionals, has published over 140 technical publications and has performed training in over 45 states and four continents.
Dr. Linda Mason
Purdue University
Dr. Mason has established an internationally recognized integrated pest management program in stored products entomology providing industry with innovative alternative storage programs resulting in savings of over $2 million and 20% reduction in pesticide applications. Her success in outreach is demonstrated by the widespread acceptance of her programs throughout the United States and overseas. She is a consultant for many of the largest food producers and retailers.
Judy Loven
USDA-APHIS Wildlife Services
Judy Loven, Indiana State Director for USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services has worked as a wildlife biologist since 1978. Since coming to Indiana in 1993, she has worked closely with the Federal Aviation Administration, Purdue Cooperative Extension Service, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Indiana State Department of Health, Indiana Animal Damage Control Association and many other agencies on nuisance wildlife issues.
Scott Robbins, A.C.E.
Action Pest Control
With over twelve years in the pest management industry, Scott is responsible for overseeing technician training, quality assurance and evaluating emerging pest management technologies for Action Pest Control. He also serves as Director at Large for the Indiana Pest Management Association and contributor to Pest Control Technology magazine.
Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and Kentucky CCH’s and CEU’s in appropriate categories are anticipated. We will post approved hours on our website www.actionpest.com as they are received.
The seminar will be held at the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center located at 1901 Lynch Road, Evansville, Indiana. The center is located approximately one half mile east of U.S. Highway 41, south of the Evansville Regional Airport on Evansville’s north side and can easily be reached by traveling south approx.8.5 miles on Highway 41 from Interstate 64 and turning left onto Lynch Road.
Hotels near the SITC include the Drury Inn, 3901 US Hwy 41 N (812-423-5818) and Holiday Inn, 4101 Hwy 41 N (812-424-6400) for our out-of-town guests.
